Sterling Court Assisted Living and Memory Care is looking for a Dining Room Supervisor to add to our Dynamic team!
Position Summary:
The Dining Room Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the dining room to ensure residents receive excellent service and a positive dining experience. This role supervises dining staff, ensures compliance with health and safety standards, and supports a culture of hospitality and respect.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support dining room staff during meal service
- Ensure timely, efficient, and courteous service to residents and guests
- Train, coach, and hold staff accountable to service standards
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely meal delivery
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room and service areas
- Assist with scheduling and staffing to ensure proper coverage
- Address resident concerns and feedback promptly and professionally
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Support special events, holiday meals, and community functions
- Monitor inventory of dining supplies and assist with ordering as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or senior living preferred
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Food Handler’s Permit (or ability to obtain upon hire)
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
