Position
The Project Manager works within the executive team which is responsible for planning and overseeing the project from preconstruction to completion to ensure a timely and cost-effective outcome. SCI will provide training, mentoring and the tools to ensure you are supported and developing professionally.
Responsibilities
· Responsible and lead person for preconstruction, budget/scope development, bidding,
leveling, review, and buyout.
· Develop and maintain procurement and track long lead time items.
· Work with superintendent to develop project schedule.
· Responsible to present budget and schedule to client.
· Able to create and manage all aspects of Owner and subcontractor change orders.
·Effectively communicate all project deliverables, deadlines, updates in a timely manner
to all stakeholders.
· Review and approve all timecards, costs, invoices, monthly invoices, and expenses
associated with projects under your management.
· Review and approve all subcontractor and owner schedule of values
· Manage all aspects of project compliance.
· Mange and run meetings, coordination, OAC’s, sub and internal meetings efficiently and
effectively.
· Oversee submittal process to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
· Understand, review, and update all project budget and financial reporting.
· Manage project closeout process, including financial and owner trainings.
· Establish, update (with Superintendent), and communicate the master project schedule.
· Work with the Superintendent to oversee field operation and progress.
· Support field team to ensure all project goals and expectations are met.
Desired skills and Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or applicable discipline.

· Understanding of Procore software. (Desired but not required.)
· Understanding of Textura software. (Desired but not required.)
· Understanding of BIM/Revit software. (Desired but not required.)
· Understanding of Bluebeam software. (Desired but not required.)
· Demonstrate high standard of personal accountability and integrity.
· OSHA 30 certification (SCI will provide training)
· Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
· Superb communication, time management, and organizational skills, able to manage
multiple tasks , priorities and management of delegation.
· Hands on knowledge of design assist and value engineering methods.
· Ability to interview for projects as part of team.
· Ability to hold stakeholders accountable to keep projects on track with deliverables.
· Seasoned professional who will be able to build and maintain industry relationships.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications including MS project.
