This is a full-time, on-site role for a CNC Programmer located in Montgomery, AL. The CNC Programmer will be responsible for creating, modifying, and optimizing CNC programs to produce precision components. Daily tasks include interpreting technical drawings, setting up and troubleshooting CNC machines, and ensuring parts meet design specifications. The role involves close collaboration with machinists, engineers, and quality assurance teams to enhance efficiency and maintain production standards.
- Proficiency in CNC programming, G-code, and toolpath optimization
- Experience with interpreting technical drawings and CAD/CAM software
- Familiarity with machining processes, tooling, and materials
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot machine and programming issues
- Attention to detail and adherence to quality and safety standards
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Technical certification or associate degree in manufacturing or a related field is preferred
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
