What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Supervisor position at Sterilite Corporation?

Warehouse Supervisor: 12 hour night shifts from 7pm-7am, rotating shift, must be able to work every other weekend.
Summary: Directs and coordinates all warehousing activities and employees. Supervises the storage, inventory control, order filling and shipment to customers for all finished goods.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Manages the storage of all finished goods.
- Maintains inventory control of all finished goods.
- Ensures all trucks are properly loaded and secured in accordance with load plan. Ensures shipments are packed properly and protected against damage in transit.
- Ensures stock locator system is maintained and updated.
- Reports and investigates all accidents/ incidents, and completes accident/ incident reports in a timely manner and submits to human resources.
- Maintains neat, clean, safe and tidy work environment throughout warehouse.
- Maintains labor budget requirements.
- Coordinates weekly cycle counts with staff to ensure accuracy.
Qualifications
- Requires High School Diploma or GED.
- Requires 2 years of experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a back-up position (ex., Team Lead or Asst. Supvr.).
- Requires experience driving a forklift.
- Requires a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Must have leadership level general competencies in accountability, customer service, integrity and honesty, and quality focus.
- Must have leadership level functional competencies in interpersonal skills, knowledge of warehouse/shipping process, planning and organizing, and warehouse safety.
Work Environment:
Exposure to cold, hot, dust, some heavy lifting up to 50-75lbs.
Must be able to drive a forklift.
