We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to join our team at Hotel Indigo Williamsburg Brooklyn. This is an exciting opportunity to represent a lifestyle boutique hotel in one of NYC’s most vibrant and competitive markets.
Role Description
The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue by identifying sales opportunities, managing client relationships, and developing strategic plans to meet business goals. Daily tasks include conducting sales calls, creating proposals, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with internal teams to coordinate client services. The role also involves market analysis, competitor monitoring, and participation in trade shows or events to promote the business. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Brooklyn, NY.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive hotel revenue
• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate, group, and leisure accounts
• Identify and develop new business opportunities in the Brooklyn/NYC market
• Conduct client presentations, site tours, and negotiations
• Collaborate with operations and revenue teams to optimize performance
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity
Qualification
• 2–4 years of hotel sales or hospitality sales experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of the NYC/Brooklyn hospitality market
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with a proven track record of achieving sales goals
- Experience with IHG systems is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field
- Flexibility to work on-site in Brooklyn, NY, and travel as needed for business purposes
