Renaissance Des Moines Savery Hotel, managed by StepStone Hospitality, is seeking a friendly and organized Bell Attendant/Shuttle Driver to assist our guests. This role requires excellent communication and a passion for providing outstanding guest services.
- Escort incoming guests to rooms.
- Assist guests with luggage.
- Inspect guest room to ensure that it is in order, and that supplies are adequate.
- Explain features of room such as operation of radio, television, in-room movie system, etc.
- Offer information pertaining to available hotel services, points of interest, and entertainment attractions.
- Deliver messages and run errands.
- Transport guests in hotel van within property requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness of both interior and exterior of van.
- Maintain all mileage records on a daily basis.
- Report all trips to front desk; length of drive as well as length of time spent.
- Keep record of calls for service.
- Deliver packages, suitcases, and trunks.
- Set up sample rooms.
- Respond to and resolve guest requests, complaints, or questions in a courteous and timely manner.
- Minimum lifting of 50 pounds.
- Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity.
- Hearing, writing, typing.
- Minimum pulling of 50 pounds.
- Other duties may be assigned.
