About Us
Stepping Stones Early Intervention Service is dedicated to supporting young children, birth to age 3, with developmental delays or disabilities. We partner with families and the NC Infant-Toddler Program to provide high-quality early intervention services that promote growth across developmental domains and strengthen family capacity.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-home and/or community-based early intervention services for children ages birth to 3.
- Develop and implement individualized strategies to support child development (social-emotional, communication, cognitive, adaptive, and physical).
- Collaborate with families, service coordinators, and multidisciplinary team members.
- Model interventions for parents and caregivers, empowering them to integrate strategies into daily routines.
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with state and program guidelines.
- Attend IFSP (Individualized Family Service Plan) meetings and contribute to goal development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Child Development, or a related field.
- Experience working with young children with developmental delays or disabilities preferred.
- Knowledge of family-centered practices and coaching strategies.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
- Must hold or be eligible for NC Infant-Toddler Program provider approval.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
