Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator and a driver who can drive school van to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This role involves planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum, engaging with children in meaningful ways, and supporting their overall growth and development.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Assess children's developmental progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive educational experience across the preschool program.
- Support children with special needs through tailored activities and interventions as required.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and developmental milestones.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Experience
- A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
- Experience working in preschool, daycare, or private school settings is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles, including early intervention strategies.
- Familiarity with curriculum development and standardized testing for preschool-aged children is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and staff.
- Experience in toddler care and special education will be considered an advantage.
