Responsibilities
- Provide attentive care to children, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being at all times
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social skills
- Support toddlers and infants with feeding, diapering, nap times, and developmental milestones
- Implement behavior management techniques to encourage positive interactions and emotional regulation
- Assist with early childhood education activities aligned with preschool standards
- Maintain a clean and organized environment that adheres to health and safety regulations
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians about their child's progress and daily experiences
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, babysitting, nannying or classroom settings is highly preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is required; additional training in working with individuals with disabilities is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to manage behavior positively and foster a nurturing environment
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with families and team members effectively
- Ability to handle the physical demands of childcare tasks including lifting infants or toddlers and engaging in active play
- Passion for caring for children and supporting their growth through teaching and caregiving activities

Pay: $12.50 - $15.00 per hour
