Experience Childcare Provider

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Childcare Provider to create a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and possess skills in behavior management, early childhood education, and childcare practices. This role involves providing care for children in various settings, including daycare facilities, private homes, or classrooms, ensuring their physical, emotional, and developmental needs are met.

Duties

• Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
• Implement behavior management techniques to foster a positive environment.
• Provide care for toddlers and young children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
• Educate children through play-based learning experiences that encourage curiosity and creativity.
• Maintain a clean and organized space for children to play and learn.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and any concerns.
• Administer first aid when necessary and maintain a safe environment by following health guidelines.

Requirements

• Experience in daycare settings or as a babysitter/nanny is preferred.
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles is highly desirable.
• Strong skills in behavior management to handle various situations effectively.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is a plus.
• Ability to create engaging educational activities tailored to different age groups.
• Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills are essential for this role.
• A background check is required prior to employment.

Pay: $10.00 - $13.00 per hour

License/Certification:

• Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)
