As we expand into our new Keizer location, we are looking for a caring and reliable Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our team.
Position Summary
The Infant/Toddler Teacher supports children ages 1.5 months to 2 years through developmentally appropriate, play-based learning. The ideal candidate is nurturing, patient, and passionate about early childhood development.
Responsibilities
- Implement developmentally appropriate, sensory-rich, and play-based activities
- Build trusting, responsive relationships with infants, toddlers, and families
- Support early social-emotional, physical, and cognitive development
- Maintain a clean, safe, organized classroom environment
- Follow all health, safety, and licensing requirements
- Communicate effectively with families and coworkers
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture
Requirements
- 1 year of experience working with infants and/or toddlers in a licensed childcare or early childhood setting
- Current ORO background check
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, positive, and nurturing caregiving style
- Passion for early childhood education and child development
Preferred but not required:
- ECE coursework or degree
- First Aid/CPR & Food Handler’s Card (or willingness to obtain)
Schedule & Hours
- Monday–Friday
- Must be available for shifts between 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- 20–32 hours per week, with the opportunity for hours to increase as the program grows
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.70 - $27.34 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 32 per week
