Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool Teacher Aide to join our vibrant team! In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a positive learning environment that promotes early childhood development. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help children thrive academically, socially, and emotionally while ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the day.
Duties
- Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and helping children develop social skills.
- Engage with children during activities utilizing early childhood education techniques.
- Help create a safe, inclusive environment by supervising children during playtime, and meals.
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing individualized attention when necessary.
- Maintain clear communication with staff and parents regarding children's progress and classroom activities.
- Driving daycare van to provide transportation for school age children to/from school.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and families.
- Must be at least 21 years of age, have a good driving record, and pass a comprehensive background check.
