As a Daycare Teacher Assistant, you will be involved in the innovative, fun-filled, and exciting learning environment of our little people from Monday-Friday. We have created a nurturing environment for our children that helps foster an atmosphere of growth. As a teacher assistant, you are a leader for the children on a daily basis who must be committed to helping them grow into well-rounded individuals. Stepping Into Excellence Learning Center is currently hiring a Daycare Teacher Assistant (Floater) to support our classrooms and teaching team.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to be part of a positive, nurturing learning environment.
No previous childcare experience is required, just a genuine love for working with children.
The role of Daycare Teacher Assistant:
- Assist teachers with daily classroom activities
- Supervise and engage children in learning and play
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom
- Support children's social and developmental growth
- Help with transitions, meals, and activities throughout the day
- Provide support to different classrooms as needed (floater role)
Characteristics of a great Daycare Teacher Assistant:

- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Education:
· High school or equivalent (required); Associate’s degree (preferred)
Experience:
· Childcare experience: 1 year (preferred)
License/Certification(s):
· CPR certification (preferred)
