Tow Truck Driver - Orlando

Stepp’s Towing & Heavy Transport is expanding our Orlando team and seeking Light Duty Tow Truck Operators. We value positive attitudes, strong customer service skills, and effective problem-solving abilities.

No Slip Seating – Keep Your Assigned Truck!

All drivers must have their own set of tools once assigned to a truck.

Essential Functions

• Respond efficiently to accidents, breakdowns, and roadside incidents
• Maintain communication with motorists while en route
• Perform basic repairs or tow vehicles to repair facilities as needed
• Safely load vehicles onto your truck
• Remove illegally parked vehicles as required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, crawl, pull, bend, reach, climb, and perform tasks requiring significant strength and stamina
• Frequent use of hands and full physical mobility required

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial motor vehicle driving experience required
• Prior towing experience or related field preferred but not required! We will train you to operate the tow truck!
  
• Current DOT Medical Card required before the 1st day of work
• Clean driving record required for at least the past 3 years
• MUST be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test 
• Registered in the DOT Clearinghouse (For CDL holders only)
  

Commission Pay

• 30% Commission - Our drivers average $800-$1,300 weekly.
  • This pay structure should not be misconstrued as a salary paid position. 

Schedule

• Five-day and Six-day work weeks available (Weekends ARE mandatory)
