The Information Technology Manager is responsible for the reliable and secure operation of the company's technology systems across corporate headquarters and branch locations. This is a hands-on leadership role that oversees day-to-day IT operations, employee technology support, business applications, cybersecurity practices, vendors, and technology projects. The position supervises the System Administrator and works closely with the company's managed service provider and other technology partners.
Essential Responsibilities:
IT Infrastructure and Operations
· Oversee company networks, internet connectivity, servers, wireless systems, shared technology, and related infrastructure across corporate headquarters and branch locations.
· Coordinate technology setup for new locations, office moves, equipment replacements, system upgrades, and other infrastructure projects.
· Monitor system performance and work with vendors or the managed service provider to resolve significant technical issues.
· Oversee company backup and disaster-recovery systems and periodically verify that data can be restored.
· Maintain accurate documentation of company systems, equipment, and network configurations.
Microsoft 365, Devices, and User Access
· Administer Microsoft 365, including email, Teams, SharePoint, user accounts, security permissions, and related services.
· Oversee computers, mobile devices, software deployment, and device-management systems.
· Manage Apple Business Manager and maintain accurate technology equipment and device inventories.
· Coordinate technology setup, access changes, and account termination throughout the employee lifecycle.
· Ensure employees receive the equipment and system access needed to perform their jobs.
Information Security and Compliance
· Maintain practical cybersecurity protections, including endpoint security, email filtering, multifactor authentication, and access controls.
· Coordinate the company's response to suspected cybersecurity incidents with internal leadership, vendors, and the managed service provider.
· Support PCI compliance, cyber-insurance requirements, security reviews, and related documentation.
· Conduct periodic user-access reviews and ensure access is removed promptly when employment ends or responsibilities change.
· Maintain IT policies, acceptable-use standards, and required audit documentation.
Physical Security Systems
· Oversee company camera systems and electronic building-access systems.
· Manage employee badge access and authorized access to surveillance footage.
· Coordinate camera, cabling, and access-control work with qualified vendors.
· Support legitimate footage requests from management, Human Resources, insurance carriers, or law enforcement.
Business Systems and User Support
· Support the company's primary business applications, telephone systems, payment systems, and related technology.
· Coordinate with software vendors when system problems or integration issues occur.
· Oversee the IT support queue and ensure employees receive timely and professional assistance.
· Identify opportunities to improve systems, reduce manual work, and improve reliability.
Vendor and Budget Management
· Manage IT vendors, contracts, subscriptions, renewals, and service expectations.
· Review technology costs and recommend opportunities to consolidate services or reduce unnecessary spending.
· Manage the relationship with the company's managed IT service provider.
· Assist leadership with developing and managing the annual IT budget.
Leadership
· Supervise, support, and develop the System Administrator.
· Establish consistent and practical technology standards across the organization.
· Communicate technology risks, needs, priorities, and recommendations to senior leadership.
· Provide escalation support for urgent technology issues outside normal business hours when necessary.

· Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, business, or a related field preferred; equivalent practical experience will be considered.
· At least five years of progressively responsible IT experience, including experience coordinating infrastructure, user support, security, and vendors.
· Prior experience supervising or providing day-to-day direction to IT staff.
· Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, networks, endpoint and mobile-device management, cybersecurity practices, and backup systems.
· Experience supporting a multi-location organization is strongly preferred.
· Ability to explain technical issues clearly to employees and leaders with different levels of technical knowledge.
· Strong judgment, organization, follow-through, customer-service skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
· Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive company, employee, and security information.
· Valid driver's license and ability to travel periodically to company locations.
Work Environment and Expectations
· This position is primarily office-based at the corporate headquarters in Wadsworth, Ohio.
· Periodic travel to branch locations may be required for projects, installations, or issue resolution.
· The role may occasionally require work outside regular business hours for urgent issues, maintenance, or planned system changes.
· The employee must be able to use standard office and computer equipment and occasionally move or position technology equipment.
Salary : $110,000 - $115,000
