Stephenson Equipment, Inc (SEI), an industry leader in Pennsylvania, New York, Maryland, and Viginia, providing sales, rentals, parts and service for construction equipment, cranes, paving, road building and road maintenance equipment, has an immediate need for Parts Manager in our Hagerstown, MD location. This is a functional manager role for a sole parts person branch.

Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Manage parts counter department at the Hagerstown, MD branch.
- Hold regular communication with neighboring departments for great customer service.
- Follow parts process structure for stocking; pricing; returns; warranties; etc
- Interpret financial statements to obtain budgets and set parameters for department.
- Use inventory management principals, set by SEI, to make sure there is appropriate inventory to develop good customer service.
- Obtain monthly inventory surplus goals to keep inventory healthy.
- Maintain warehousing and parts storage systems.
- Order parts as needed for inventory and repair orders.
- Verify invoicing is correct in the system.
- Data entry for parts sales order, purchasing, receiving, customer debit/credit.
- Sale of and process of customer parts as needed with great customer communication and follow-up.
The best fit to our team will have:
- One-year certificate from college or technical school; and 2 years of relevant experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- A self-starting attitude that suits great customer service and team work.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Office environment with moderate noise; computers, printers, and customer traffic. Work requires a combination of sitting, using hands to finger, handle, or feel, as well as standing and walking to retrieve parts. Frequent lifting, up to 49lbs.
