Qualifications:

Georgia Teacher Certification in Art

Prior teaching experience at the elementary level preferred

Job Description:
The Elementary Art Teacher will be responsible for delivering a dynamic art curriculum that encourages creative expression, critical thinking, and an appreciation for the visual arts. The teacher will create a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment where all students can explore various art media and techniques.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and implement art lessons that align with state and national standards

Teach a variety of artistic techniques including drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital art

Foster students’ creativity, confidence, and appreciation for different cultures and artistic styles

Display student artwork throughout the school and/or in exhibitions

Maintain a well-organized and safe classroom environment

Collaborate with classroom teachers and school staff on interdisciplinary projects
