The Senior Financial Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis will be a key member of a growing FP&A team driving planning and forecasting, producing analysis & insights through key performance indicators (KPIs) and developing Executive and Board of Directors reporting. This position will report to the Director of FP&A and will be based out of the Madison, New Jersey Corporate Headquarters.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Own quarterly budget and forecasting activities, including Sales, Gross Profit% and General and Administrative expenses by building key relationships with cross-functional company leaders and utilizing key performance indicators and trend analysis
- Prepare presentation materials and communicate with Executive leadership regarding changing financial conditions
- Lead the usage and optimization of our budget planning software system
- Analyze financial performance against budget, forecast, and prior periods through detailed variance analysis
- Create quarterly Board of Directors presentation materials
- Deep dive analytics and modeling for various programs and investments
- Support the development of various modeling to inform decision making: Long-Range Plans, Cash Flow, use of capital
- Be a thought leader to improve and simplify processes, drive standardization, and build scalable systems to support business growth
- Develop and update models, Metrics (KPI’s, etc.) and methods to analyze volume and margin trends to develop both short and medium-term forecasts
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and maintain robust documentation and audit trails
- Act as a trusted business partner with various stakeholders to support functional teams with business case development and ROI analysis
Basic Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in finance, accounting or related analytical field
- 2 years of experience performing planning and analysis activities
- Bachelor’s degree in business (Finance, Accounting, Economics) or equivalent experience
- Advanced skillset in Excel and Power Point
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with various job levels
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA, CPA or CFA preferred
- Experience with ERP related systems (Epicor, SAP, Oracle, or equivalent system)
- Experience with Anaplan or other Budget Planning software a big plus
