In this energetic role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing products for shipment, ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled efficiently and correctly. Your expertise in warehouse management systems, heavy equipment operation, and inventory control will help keep our logistics running smoothly. Responsibilities
- Use barcode scanning technology and RF scanners to accurately pick items according to order specifications
- Manage inventory levels through proper stock rotation, replenishment, and recording using warehouse management systems
- Pack products securely for shipping, ensuring quality control standards are met during packing and labeling processes
- Load and unload shipments using appropriate material handling equipment while adhering to safety protocols and PPE use
- Assist with shipping & receiving tasks, including verifying incoming stock against purchase orders and updating inventory records
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment by stocking shelves, organizing pallets, and performing routine safety inspections
Experience
- Prior experience working in a warehouse environment with familiarity in warehouse distribution or logistics operations
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management systems, barcode scanning for logistics, and RF scanners
- Demonstrated ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and proper packing techniques
- Strong attention to detail with basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments
- Experience in order fulfillment processes such as picking & packing, quality control checks, and shipping & receiving procedures
- Familiarity with safety protocols related to warehouse operations and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
