Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, loving care to infants, supporting their physical, emotional, and developmental needs.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote sensory exploration, motor skills, and early language development.
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Observe and document each infant’s milestones, behaviors, and individual preferences to inform personalized care plans.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, routines, and any concerns.
- Support classroom management by organizing materials, managing schedules, and ensuring smooth daily routines.
- Collaborate with team members to create a cohesive learning environment that encourages curiosity and socialization among infants.
Requirements
- Prior experience working with infants in a daycare or early childhood education setting is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles specific to infants and toddlers.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in special education or working with individuals with disabilities are a plus.
- Strong understanding of classroom management techniques tailored for infant care environments.
- Excellent caregiving skills with the ability to nurture, comfort, and engage young children effectively.
