What are the responsibilities and job description for the Forward Deployed Engineer position at Stem IT?
Venture backed defense tech firm, in the threat detection software space, is looking to bring on several Forward Deployed Engineers to work on-site in Washington, DC. They are looking for engineers with experience in either LLM implementation, infrastructure engineering, or software development. Based off your background, they will slot you into a role that will set you and their customers up for success. Preferred:
- Background delivering AI/ML solutions and deploying into production (RAG, LLM's, Langchain, etc)
- Strong experience with Full stack development in Typescript or Python
-Experience implementing and scaling Kubernetes for customers environments
- Ability to obtain US Security clearance
- Previous experience in a client/customer- facing position collaborating with field engineers and stakeholders to translate mission requirements into deliverable solutions
- BS in Computer Science or related degree
Desired:
- Experienced with distributed AWS services: ECS, Lambda, EventBridge, CloudMap, etc.
- Background working for Applied AI Startup
- Active Secret clearance or above
