Senior Robotics C Engineer - Controls Platform
Los Angeles, CA (On-site)
We’re partnering with a well-funded, fast-growing robotics company developing advanced, imaging-guided robotic systems to transform precision procedures.
They’re looking for a Senior Robotics C Engineer to build and optimize a high-performance controls platform where latency, determinism, and reliability are critical.
What You’ll Do:
- Design and develop real-time controls software
- Optimize latency, throughput, and system performance
- Build data pipelines and telemetry/observability frameworks
- Work closely with controls, hardware, and software teams
- Support hands-on integration with robotic systems
What They’re Looking For:
- 5 years modern C (C 11 )
- Strong Linux systems experience
- Experience with low-latency / mission-critical systems
- Familiarity with DDS, gRPC, or similar IPC frameworks
- Strong profiling and performance optimization skills
Nice to have: robotics, embedded systems, kinematics, or regulated/medical environments
