We are seeking a hands-on ITS Field Support Technician to join a growing field operations team supporting the installation, maintenance, and servicing of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) infrastructure.

This role is ideal for someone with construction, field service, or manual labor experience who enjoys working outdoors, traveling to project sites, and contributing to the deployment of technology that supports transportation networks.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with roadside installation, maintenance, and construction activities.
• Support the installation and integration of roadside electronic equipment and systems.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction-related equipment safely and effectively.
• Perform testing, troubleshooting, and initial calibration of installed equipment.
• Maintain accurate installation and service records using electronic reporting tools.
• Collaborate with field technicians and supervisors to resolve technical and operational issues.
• Travel to various project locations and work in outdoor environments year-round.
• Follow all safety procedures and company standards while working on-site.

What We're Looking For

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in construction, field service, manual labor, or a related field.
• Road construction experience is highly desirable.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment.
• Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix, DOS, or Microsoft Windows environments is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to obtain a valid passport for travel into Canada.
• Ability to pass a DOT Medical Exam and maintain a valid DOT Medical Card.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and at heights when required.
