ITS Field Service Technician
Location: Illinois
Travel: Extensive travel required (Monday–Friday, away from home during the week and home on weekends)
Overtime: Available
Stelvio are working with a client seeking an ITS Field Service Technician to join their Field Services team and support the installation, maintenance, and servicing of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) across customer sites throughout the United States
.This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys technical problem-solving, working independently in the field, and delivering exceptional customer service

Responsibiliti
- esInstall, integrate, test, calibrate, and maintain Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) and roadside electronic equipmen
- t.Perform routine maintenance and provide emergency service support on deployed systems in accordance with service agreement
- s.Communicate directly with customers and provide training on the operation and use of installed system
- s.Work closely with Technical Support, Engineering, Sales, Manufacturing, and other internal teams to resolve technical, design, and operational issue
- s.Maintain accurate service records and complete electronic reporting using company systems and processe
- s.Review installation drawings and specifications to verify site compliance and identify any required correction
- s.Support and oversee roadside and in-road construction activities as require
- d.Supervise subcontractors to ensure installation, repair, and service work is completed to company standard
- s.Maintain company vehicles in a safe, clean, and operational conditio
- n.Follow all company safety and quality policies and procedure
s.Qualificatio
- nsDegree, Diploma, or Certificate in Electronics Technology, or equivalent practical experienc
- e.Strong mechanical aptitude with experience using tools such as drills, grinders, meters, crimping tools, screwdrivers, soldering irons, and wrenche
- s.Valid passport and willingness to travel extensively throughout the regio
- n.Valid driver's license with a clean driving recor
- d.Ability to pass a DOT medical examination every two year
- s.Working knowledge of Linux/Unix and Microsoft Windows environment
- s.Experience using Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Team
- s.Ability to troubleshoot hardware and system operation issues effectivel
- y.Strong communication and customer service skill
- s.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a demanding environmen
- t.Strong organizational and time management skill
- s.Ability to lift up to 65 pounds and work outdoors for extended periods in all weather condition
