We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Tax Manager with an active CPA license to join our growing team in Fort Worth, TX. The ideal candidate will manage complex tax engagements, supervise staff, and serve as a trusted advisor to clients across various industries. Key Responsibilities
- Lead, prepare, and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, and estates.
- Manage multiple tax engagements, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all deliverables.
- Provide proactive tax planning, strategy, and advisory services to clients.
- Research complex tax issues and prepare technical memos and recommendations.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop junior tax staff; provide ongoing training and performance feedback.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while identifying opportunities for additional services.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Participate in workflow management, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with internal teams across accounting, audit, and advisory functions.
Qualifications
- Active CPA license required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master’s in Taxation preferred.
- 5 years of progressive tax experience in public accounting.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
- Experience with tax research tools and tax preparation software.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
