License Unarmed Security Officer

Stellar Security Services is hiring dependable, professional licensed unarmed security officers to help maintain a safe and welcoming environment at our client sites. We are looking for people who take their responsibilities seriously, communicate well, and can work independently while following site instructions.

Applicants must be willing and available to work all shifts, including days, evenings, overnights, and weekends. Work locations, duties, and schedules may vary by assignment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible, professional security presence at assigned locations.
• Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols as directed, including entrances, exits, parking areas, and other designated areas.
• Monitor for suspicious activity, safety hazards, property damage, and violations of site rules.
• Monitor access to the property, verify authorization when required, and assist visitors with directions or site procedures.
• Follow post orders, patrol schedules, emergency procedures, and instructions from supervisors.
• Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, and requests for assistance while remaining calm and professional.
• Observe and report concerns to dispatch and supervisors; contact law enforcement or emergency services when appropriate.
• Complete clear, accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and other required documentation before the end of each shift.
• Communicate important updates during shift changes so the next officer is informed.
• Provide courteous customer service to clients, residents, employees, and visitors.
• Report equipment problems, unsafe conditions, and staffing concerns promptly.
• Maintain a professional appearance and protect confidential client and company information.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must be willing and available to work all shifts, including days, evenings, overnights, and weekends.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Strong verbal communication and writing skills.
• Ability to write clear, accurate daily activity and incident reports.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time and perform patrol duties.
• Dependable attendance and the ability to arrive on time for assigned shifts.
• Ability to remain alert, use sound judgment, and work independently.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and use a phone or other reporting tools for communication and documentation.
• Professional demeanor and the ability to handle difficult interactions calmly.
• Any license required for the assigned unarmed security position must be current.
