Job Description – Paralegal
Backed by KKR, a leading global investment firm, Stellar Renewable Power is a utility scale solar and storage development, finance and operating company. We support the full project lifecycle from greenfield real estate acquisition through development, finance and operations.
We are experiencing significant growth and are seeking a highly organized and proactive paralegal to join our in-house legal team. This role will support the legal and corporate needs of the organization working closely with the attorneys and partnering with the Development, Procurement, EPC, Finance, and Operation teams.
Position: Corporate Paralegal
Location: Dallas Texas preferred, willing to consider remote for the right candidate; with requirement for occasional travel
Overview: As part of a small and dynamic in-house legal team this position is expected to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, exercise commercial judgment and support a solution oriented approach to risk management. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, process-driven, and comfortable managing multiple simultaneous workstreams. This position will play a critical role in maintaining legal documentation, supporting transactions, and strengthening internal corporate governance processes.
Main Responsibilities:
· Approval, Signature and Storing Processes: Manage document approvals and the signature process for approved contracts, monitor and assure fully executed agreements are properly stored onto the system and monitor compliance with naming conventions.
· Document Review: Provide initial review of redlines to company form contracts such as NDAs, purchase orders, engagement letters, service contracts and similar company forms.
· Corporate Governance: Support corporate governance activities, such as entity formation, drafting of corporate resolutions and actions, maintaining accurate and organized repositories for entity documents and actions.
· Risk Management: Support risk management activities through attendance on project coordinating calls, reviewing applicable legal requirements, reviewing consultant reports identify project requirements, and reviewing contractual obligations.
· Finance: Support ongoing project and corporate finance transactions, including document review, support in responding to diligence queries, attend transaction calls and support team’s response to bank requests.
· Real Estate and Title: Support real estate and title efforts, including drafting, review, redlining and execution of leases, options to lease, easements and other real estate agreements, assist in ordering, review and commenting on title commitments, assist in drafting and resolving exceptions to title identified in the title commitment.
· General Transactions: Support drafting, diligence, negotiations and other activities related to acquisitions, corporate contracting, corporate governance, compliance, operations and other areas.
· Other Support: Provide additional drafting, review, research and support as requested.

Qualifications:
Education & Certifications:
· Bachelor degree from an accredited institution
· Paralegal certificate a plus but not required
Experience:
· 5 years of experience in a similar role.
· Excellent interpersonal, communication, organization, and process skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a willingness to take the initiative.
· Demonstrated process management, organizational, and analytical problem-solving skills.
· Experience in solar industry a plus but not required.
