Core Skills Required
To be successful in this position, your background must include:
- LIMS Implementation: Minimum 5 years of experience deploying laboratory information management systems.
- Laboratory Expertise: Minimum 5 years working in a clinical or environmental laboratory environment (bench work) or directly supporting lab systems.
- Business Analysis: 10 years of experience eliciting business requirements, conducting workshops, and creating use cases/solution designs.
- Problem Solving: 10 years of analytical problem-solving in a structured IT or laboratory environment.
- SDLC Methodologies: Hands-on experience with both Agile and Waterfall frameworks.
- Testing & QA: Proven track record of developing test plans, user stories, and executing test cases.
- Tech Stack: Proficiency with Word, Excel, Visio, and Azure DevOps.
Highly Desired (Major Plus)
- Experience with STARLIMS configuration, validation, and specific familiarity with the Starlims LPH product.
Key Responsibilities
- Elicit, analyze, and document complex business requirements and functional specifications.
- Map and analyze laboratory processes to identify opportunities for automation and improvement.
- Assist with STARLIMS configuration validation and quality assurance activities.
