Operations Support Manager - Field Services

Summary Objective
The role, under direction of the Field Services Director, is responsible for coordination and execution of operations support for the Digital Field Services Department and other adjacent organizations when they travel to the field in support of site work: including startup and commissioning schedules, tracking warranty issue resolution and cost, planned maintenance schedules, parts orders and logistics, planned upgrades to existing facilities, vehicle lease tracking, safety gear inventory, and coordinating new Digital Field Services employee onboarding with the Training Dept. The Business Operations Lead will also support the Field Services Director in tracking and overseeing Field Services project finances. This position may play an integral role in supporting new service opportunity development and tracking profitability of the department.
Essential Functions
- Daily coordination with the Field Services Director on department operations and services related issues
- Partner with procurement and field logisticians on parts/equip sourcing in support of field service activities
- Serve as Digital Field Services Account Administrator for coordination and support platforms/applications
- Review Digital Field Services specific project responsibilities and ensures standard and effective delivery
- Oversee daily scheduling of FS technicians, service coordination, and project comms in partnership with PM
- Support Quality and Safety documentation as required by SOP and regulations.
- Partner with Finance on cost accounting for Digital Field Services jobs
- Create, reviews, and/or issues requisitions while tracking costs.
- Tracks and coordinates project invoicing for Field Services jobs.
- Supports estimate and proposal creation for Field Service work
- Identifies risks and liability associated with field service activities.
- Provide quality and safety audit support and coordination

Work Location
This position will work out of our Manufacturing facilities in Jacksonville, FL.
Work Environment
This position operates mainly in an office setting with occasional travel to a construction site and
operating industrial plant environment. When working at a job site, the employee must always comply
with safety policies, practices, and procedures. Work is primarily done in the field which could be in a
construction area requiring the use of earplugs, hardhat, steel-toe boots, and safety glasses. The work
environment could be outdoors, hot, or cold, noisy and/or dirty.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee frequently is required to walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand. The employee must frequently lift or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move objects up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday. Overtime may be necessary as workload dictates. This may include weekdays, weekends, or holidays.
Travel
This position requires flexibility to travel around the country. Travel time is approximately 10%.
Required Education and Experience.
- Experience in businesses supporting field focused construction or project management.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or technical field.
- Client relation and business management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM, construction management or equivalent
- Three years in construction or project management
- PMP certification
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
Must be authorized to work in the United States and have current passport. Must have a valid driver’s
license. Must be able to obtain Transportation Worker Identification Credential
Work Authorization
Must be authorized to work in the USA.
