What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Technical Consultant position at Stellar Consulting Solutions, LLC?
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support IT Service Management (ITSM) processes including Incident, Problem, Change, and Request Management.
- Maintain and enhance the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and completeness.
- Define and implement CMDB governance, policies, and data models.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper configuration item (CI) tracking and relationships.
- Support IT asset and configuration lifecycle management.
- Work closely with IT teams to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.
- Assist in automation and integration of ITSM and CMDB processes with other systems.
- (Good to have) Support ITOM initiatives such as Discovery, Event Management, and Service Mapping.
- Generate reports and dashboards for ITSM performance and CMDB health.
- Ensure compliance with ITIL best practices and organizational standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience in IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks (preferably ITIL).
- Hands-on experience with CMDB management and data modeling.
- Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, or similar platforms.
- Understanding of configuration management and asset management processes.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
