Stellar Care and Services is looking for a full time Adult Mentor (schedule can vary and will be discussed at interview). in our Colorado Springs location to work with adults with disabilities who live independently but need varying amounts of support to be the most independent version of themselves!,
Our company is dedicated to providing services to individuals with developmental disabilities across the state of Colorado. We strive to provide high quality community-based services that support individual independence. We are proud to be a part of the growth and development for all involved. This position entails working with IDD adults who live independently in their own homes and need additional support with things such as medical appointments, grocery shopping, cleaning and helping them work toward their goals. In order to qualify you must have a reliable vehicle with current insurance and registration, and be willing to have fun with our individuals while helping them work on their goals! Weekend and early evening availability is required. You will be provided at least two days off. Compensation is $18.00 per hour.

Essential Qualifications:
- Have obtained a high school diploma or equivalent
- Have a safe and reliable vehicle
- Be willing to transport individuals in personal vehicle
- Carry appropriate and valid vehicle insurance and registration
- Be able to work independently and in cooperation with others
- Be able to life and transfer 50-75 lbs.
- Passion and dedication in caring and advocating for adults with disabilities
- Have a valid driver’s license
