Required Education, Experience & Abilities Technical Requirements
- Certification: Active FCC GROL (General Radiotelephone Operator License) required for programming and commissioning.
- Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience with public safety DAS or cellular DAS.
- Hardware Knowledge: Familiarity with major active/passive BDA brands such as Westell, Comba, Honeywell, and ADRF
- Tools: Proficiency with fiber scopes, cable strip tools, spectrum analyzers, line sweep equipment, and lift machinery.
- Lift Certification: Scissor/Boom lift operator certification is highly preferred.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Strong understanding of NFPA 72, NFPA 1221, and IFC 510 codes.
