Job Title: Human Resources Coordinator
Job Status: Part Time
Location: Remote, Puget Sound Region
Position Overview:
The Human resources Coordinator supports all aspects of Human Resources at Stell and provides oversight and administrative support to the CEO as directed and leading special projects as assigned. Assist in developing and executing personnel procedures and policies, providing guidance and interpretation for business operations. Suggest new procedures and policies to continually improve HR efficiency, the organization and the employee experience.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate all new hire orientation activities/logistics related to the scheduling and preparation of new hire materials, overseeing checklists for all required tasks necessary to onboard new employees and consultants.
- Support staff with HR-related issues, including, compensation, benefits, rewards and recognition, vacation, misconduct, and any problem resolution.
- Maintain/update HR records and employee files in accordance with compliance laws, and policies. provide organizational information for charts and presentations.
- Work closely with payroll and relevant teams, exercising the utmost discretion while working with highly confidential information, including metrics, queries, and standard reports for ongoing company requirements.
- Support and implement all aspects of the recruiting process, hiring and onboarding, and termination across all related databases for all personnel
- Support payroll processing, including; bi-weekly and semi-monthly updates to employee files, bonus/incentive pay, tracking vacation/sick pay, importing expense reimbursements, inputting exceptions, hourly employee validations, and benefit changes
- Comply with multistate payroll processing requirements for accurate payroll and taxation
- Assist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of employee handbook, employee directory, and organizational chart, and contributes to the development of policies
Qualifications
- High School Diploma; Bachelor’s degree in HR preferred
- 3 years HR experience
- Exceptional communication and organizational, writing, and interpersonal skills, and ethical mindset
- Knowledge of HR policies and systems essential
- Proficient in all of Microsoft Office, specifically in Teams, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook, as well as Adobe Acrobat and .
- Working knowledge of MS Office familiarity with HR software
