Project Scheduler

Job Location:  Holly Springs, North Carolina (Hybrid transitioning to full-time onsite)

Compensation: $130,000 to $160,000

Eligibility/Clearance:  Eligibility to Work in USA

About the role

Stelic is seeking a Project Scheduler to support a major life sciences project in Holly Springs, North Carolina. The role begins as hybrid to support baseline development, then transitions to full-time onsite as project activity increases. You will manage schedule development, updates, and reporting across design, procurement, construction, CQV, and turnover. This role requires strong field coordination, structured reporting, and the ability to maintain schedule integrity on a fast-moving project.

Key Responsibilities 

• Develop, maintain, and analyze Primavera P6 schedules for a complex life sciences facility.
• Build detailed WBS, activity coding, calendars, and logic ties aligned with design, construction, and CQV workflows.
• Manage weekly schedule updates through coordination with project managers, superintendents, trade partners, and commissioning teams.
• Validate progress, percent complete, and remaining durations through regular onsite coordination.
• Prepare weekly and monthly schedule reports with clear insights, risks, and recommended actions.
• Support scenario modeling, schedule risk reviews, and recovery planning.
• Maintain baseline schedules, track variances, and apply structured change management.
• Integrate long-lead equipment, procurement milestones, FAT/SAT timelines, and turnover packages.
• Ensure alignment between construction, MEP system handover, and CQV sequencing.
• Maintain high-quality documentation, narratives, and audit-ready records.

Requirements 

• 5 years of scheduling experience on large capital or life sciences projects.
• Strong proficiency in Primavera P6.
• Experience supporting projects with heavy MEP, process systems, and commissioning requirements.
• Clear understanding of CQV workflows, system handover, and startup logic.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex schedule issues for leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction, or related field preferred.

Work Environment 

• Initial hybrid schedule to support baseline development, transitioning to full-time onsite in Holly Springs, North Carolina.
• Regular coordination with design, construction, procurement, CQV, and owner teams.
• Frequent site walks and working sessions to maintain alignment and schedule accuracy.
