Project Scheduler

Piper Companies is seeking a Project Scheduler to join a large-scale life sciences manufacturing organization for an onsite contract engagement based in Greenville, North Carolina. The Project Scheduler will play a key role supporting complex electrical infrastructure and utility construction initiatives, working in close partnership with senior project leadership and a centralized scheduling function within the organization.

Responsibilities of the Project Scheduler include:

• Develop, maintain, and analyze detailed project schedules for high-value electrical infrastructure construction initiatives.
• Partner closely with project managers and senior stakeholders to align schedules with construction sequencing, milestones, and resource plans.
• Support integrated scheduling efforts across major utility-related projects such as chilled water systems, clean utilities, and compressed air.
• Identify schedule risks, constraints, and critical path impacts, providing proactive recommendations to maintain project timelines.
• Prepare clear schedule updates and reporting deliverables for leadership review and cross-functional coordination.
  
  

Qualifications for the Project Scheduler include:

• Extensive experience scheduling construction projects with a strong emphasis on electrical scope.
• Demonstrated expertise using construction scheduling tools; experience with Smartsheet is strongly preferred.
• Ability to communicate complex schedule logic clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Willingness to work onsite in Greenville, NC or relocate as required.
• Highly driven, assertive, and comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-visibility project environments.
  
  

Compensation for the Project Scheduler:

Salary Range: $117,000-$137,000/year (USD)

Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, sick leave if required by law, and 401K
