Responsibilities
Primary Duties and Responsibilities Include:
- Observes all department and company safety rules
- Reads production reports to determine the correct type and configuration of materials needed for daily production
- Achieves required daily production goals and completes daily production sheet
- Helps load and unload trucks
- Continuously monitors production quality watching for quality issues
- Reads production reports to set machine output dimensions
- Contacts maintenance for machine problems outside operator's capability to correct
- Maintains a clean work area and completes daily area clean-up tasks at end of shift
Qualifications
This position requires accuracy and organization skills and attention to detail to be successful. A strong candidate will have good communication skills and work well in a fast paced, team atmosphere. This position requires frequent lifting, carrying and pushing/pulling. Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
