What are the responsibilities and job description for the Legal Operations Assistant position at Steffens Law Office, PC LLO?
About Us
We are a growing personal injury law firm with six offices throughout Nebraska. Our mission is to serve injured Nebraskans. We've built a great team and love what we do. Our legal operations assistants keep the firm and our cases running smoothly behind the scenes, so our attorneys and case teams can give every client their full attention.
About the Role
The Legal Operations Assistant is the steady presence that keeps our office organized, stocked, and welcoming. Whether greeting clients at the door, preparing deposits, or getting our mail out on time, members in this role are well trained to manage the details our attorneys and case teams rely on. Team members are also cross-trained as Legal Assistants, supporting our personal injury cases by requesting and organizing medical records and bills, tracking liens, and keeping the firm’s digital case management system accurate and complete. This role is a vital part of our culture and meaningfully ensures our continuing success.
We use advanced technology every day to do this work well. No legal experience or degree is required; we provide robust and ongoing training. We care most about your reliability, your eye for detail, and how you treat the people who walk through our door.
