Shift time is 5:30 PM - 4:30 AM M-F

Responsibilities

• Currency verification.
• Receive bulk currency deposits for automated note processing; perform prepping activities to prepare currency for processing, such as detecting notes of wrong denominations in each strap.
• Process each bundle received through the BPS (Banknote Processing System) which may reject currency due to possible lack of fitness or counterfeit status.
• Verify rejected currency through the RS (Reconciling Station), prepare unfit currency for IDA (Independent Destroy All); detect counterfeit currency; record individual bank differences resulting from such verification, as well as from the detection of deposit shortages and overages.
  
  

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in a fast-paced production environment such as manufacturing or similar highly regulated environments.
• Previous experience with currency handling. Training will be provided.
• Detail oriented skills which can follow procedures in a highly audited environment.
• Self-Motivated personality with a sense of responsibility and getting the job done.
• A team player who can be flexible with other members and time rotation.
