This role will focus on assisting with various lab tasks, including sample management, shipping, safety compliance, and general lab upkeep. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess excellent communication skills, and be able to prioritize tasks effectively.

Work Location
- Onsite position at 100 Deforest Ave., East Hanover, NJ 07936
- Part time, 20-32 hours per week
- As of now, the schedule will be back-to-back days, specifically Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Depending on future workload requirements, it may increase to three or four days per week
We are seeking a Part-Time Laboratory Technician to provide essential support to our Research & Development (R&D) team. This role will focus on assisting with various lab tasks, including sample management, shipping, safety compliance, and general lab upkeep. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess excellent communication skills, and be able to prioritize tasks effectively.
Responsibilities
- Provide support for R&D, Marketing, and Sales requests.
- Assist with domestic shipments, including packing and generating UPS waybills.
- Receive incoming shipments, unpack shippers, and notify developers.
- Support other R&D tasks as requested, such as setting up and cleaning up product reviews, benchtop prototyping, and sample analysis.
- Manage lab and sample inventory.
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in a lab environment is preferred.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
- Proficient in basic computer skills (e.g., email, data entry).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and move packages.
