Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Kalamazoo, MI, for a Technician. The Technician will be responsible for performing diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of lawn and power equipment. This role includes troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, completing repairs in an efficient and high-quality manner, and assisting customers with equipment-related inquiries. The Technician will also ensure an organized, safe, and clean workspace while maintaining accurate service records.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining lawn, landscaping, or small power equipment
- Familiarity with troubleshooting mechanical or technical issues related to small engines
- Ability to use tools, equipment, and technology required for service and repair tasks
- Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
- Customer service skills and the ability to explain repairs and equipment issues clearly
- Basic computer proficiency to record and maintain service data
- Previous experience in a similar role or certified technician training is preferred
- Physical capability to perform equipment repairs, including lifting heavy machinery
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required
