Veterinary Receptionist / Veterinary Assistant

Steel Veterinary Services a small animal general practice located in Washington PA is seeking a reliable, compassionate, and motivated Veterinary Receptionist to join our busy and fast-paced small animal clinic.
Responsibilities
Front Desk / Reception Duties:
- Answer incoming phone calls and provide excellent customer service.
- Schedule, confirm, and check clients in and out for appointments.
- Assist clients with medication purchases, flea/tick and heartworm products, and prescription diet sales.
- Maintain products up to date.
- Maintain accurate client and patient records in the computer system.
- Ensure the reception area and waiting room remain clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Escort patients and owners into the exam room, verify clients and patients information and history, get patients weight, etc.
- Experience in veterinary clinic is a plus, but we are happy to train the right person.
Requirements
- Strong computer and customer service skills are required.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and active listening skills.
- Must be reliable, ponctual, professional, and able to work well with both clients and team members.
- A drug test may be required as part of employment verification.
