YOUR ROLE AS A COORDINATE MEASURING MACHINE PROGRAMMER:
In this full-time role, you'll develop and refine CMM programs using PC-DMIS, interpret engineering drawings and GD&T specs, and perform detailed inspections using precision tools. You'll document results for audits, collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
In order to do this, you'll need the following:
- Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
- 3 years of experience in CMM programming and operation
- Proficiency in PC-DMIS software
- Strong knowledge of GD&T and ANSI/ASME, ISO standards
- Ability to document and maintain accurate records for quality audits.
- Ability to support continuous improvement initiatives with Kaizen methodologies
- Ability to train and mentor junior staff
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles is a plus.
