Duties
- Erect and assemble pre-engineered metal building components according to detailed blueprints and schematics
- Operate heavy equipment and power tools safely to lift, position, and secure steel frameworks
- Interpret technical drawings, construction plans, and schematics to ensure accurate installation
- Perform metal stud framing, roofing, siding, and trim carpentry tasks as needed for building completion
- Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling of steel panels, beams, and other materials in compliance with safety standards
- Use hand tools and power tools proficiently for cutting, and fastening materials
Requirements
- PROVEN experience in metal building erection or related construction fields with a strong understanding of construction management principles
- Skilled in blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, and measuring dimensions accurately on-site
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as manlifts or forklifts safely on construction sites
- Familiarity with construction plans involving schematics for framing, metal stud framing, or restoration projects
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights or in confined spaces
- Excellent teamwork skills combined with the ability to follow detailed instructions precisely
- Valid safety certifications such as OSHA training or equivalent are preferred
