What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pre-Engineered Metal Building Erector position at Image Building Systems?
Image Building Systems is seeking experienced PEMB Steel Erectors to join our growing team. Candidates will be responsible for the safe and efficient erection of pre-engineered metal buildings, including structural steel, wall panels, roof systems, and related components.
Responsibilities
- Erect and assemble pre-engineered metal building systems according to plans and specifications.
- Install structural steel, roof panels, wall panels, trim, and accessories.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and construction documents.
- Operate aerial lifts, forklifts, and other construction equipment as needed.
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Follow OSHA and company safety standards at all times.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and crew members to complete projects on schedule.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site.
Qualifications
- Candidates must be U.S. citizens.
- Must be able to pass background screening and drug testing.
- Applicants need to have or be able to obtain “Real ID” or Passport.
- Previous experience erecting PEMB structures and/or structural steel preferred.
- Comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation and strong work ethic.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work.
- OSHA 10/30 certification is a plus
- Rigging certification is a plus
Pay: $37.50 per hour
