The Warehouse Lead will be responsible for managing the division’s daily ship orders to ensure they are accurately picked, packed and shipped to company and customer specifications. The lead will also work with other internal departments for material movement, order replenishment, production orders, training and development.

Primary Functions:
- Lead daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient order picking, receiving, and material handling.
- Assign tasks and provide directions to Warehouse Associates, maintaining productivity in a high-paced environment.
- Train, mentor, and support team members on safe and effective warehouse practices, including forklift and equipment use.
- Monitor inventory accuracy through cycle counts, physical inventory, and inventory management tasks.
- Oversee put-away processes, ensuring materials are properly stored and tracked.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, setting the standard for warehouse housekeeping.
- Assist with the coordination of shipping, staging, and fulfillment of customer and fabrication orders.
- Partner with supervisors and management to identify and implement process improvements.
- Handle escalated issues and support problem resolution within the warehouse.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including packing, moving, and equipment setup
Primary Competencies:
- Professional written and verbal communication skills for interacting with staff and internal departments.
- Attention to detail to ensure orders are being processed correctly.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems to handle orders, customer data, and generating reports.
- Time management skills to manage a high volume of daily tasks, including delegating, directing orders and warehouse staff, and prioritizing for high level customers.
- Problem-solving skills to address discrepancies, customer issues and challenges promptly.
- Organizational skills to track multiple customer transactions and communications efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Proven warehouse experience, with at least 2–3 years in a lead or supervisory role
- preferred.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Forklift and pallet jack/hand truck experience required, certification a plus.
- Ability to train and mentor employees, fostering teamwork and accountability.
- Self-driven and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills; ERP or warehouse management system experience a plus.
- Reliable attendance and strong attention to detail.

Working Conditions:
- Fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Requires standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods.
