We are seeking an Web Administrator to support the design, development, and maintenance of Steel Dynamics digital platforms, including external and internal company websites. The ideal candidate is a motivated, detail-oriented problem-solver eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and customizing company websites and web-based applications
- Provide technical support for our websites to end users and stakeholders
- Ensure all websites meet our performance expectations, business needs, and cyber security requirements
- Perform basic troubleshooting and debugging of website related issues
- Work closely with senior developers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver cohesive and polished digital experiences.
Qualifications
Required
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Collaborate with teams to support marketing initiatives and ensure consistency across all websites.
- Stay up to date with web technologies and best practices.
- Proficiency in Word Press, CSS, PHP, HTML, and JavaScript
- Experience with source code management (Git)
- Familiar with UI/UX, SEO and responsive design
- On-site 5 days a week in Fort Wayne, IN
Preferred
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, Google Analytics, and various reporting tools.
- Experience with Linux, Nginx, IIS, and SharePoint
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams.
- Strong attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
