We are a high-production steel detailing firm with a reputation built on three decades of excellence. We are looking for a Steel Detailer who doesn't just "input data" but truly understands the craft of steel construction. We need a veteran who can take a project from the initial contract drawings all the way to the final bolt list without breaking a sweat.

Office Locations
We are looking for talent to join our teams at either of our office locations:
- Franklin, TN (Nashville area)
- Cape Girardeau, MO (1 1/2 hours south of St. Louis, MO)

Schedule & Compensation
Salary: Competitive salary based on expertise; compensation is negotiable based on experience.
- Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Full Lifecycle Detailing: Take complete ownership of projects from start to finish.
- Modeling & Connection Design: Utilize detailing software to create accurate 3D models, ensuring all connections meet project specifications and AISC standards.
- Checking & Coordination: Self-check your work and coordinate with fabricators, architects, and engineers to resolve RFIs before they become field problems.
The Must-Haves
- Experience: 8–10 years (minimum) in structural steel detailing.
- Software Skills: We prefer SDS2 proficiency; however, we are willing to train the right candidate if you have extensive experience in Tekla or similar 3D modeling software.
- Technical Knowledge: A deep understanding of NISD/AISC standards and various steel fabrication processes.
- Independence: The ability to work autonomously and drive a project to completion with minimal supervision.
