Veterinarian Technician Professional to instruct high school students. Must be a current Pennsylvania licensed Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) with a minimum of an Associate of Applied Science degree in Veterinary Technology from an AVMA accredited institution. Requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in veterinary medicine, veterinary technology or related field. Teaching experience at any level is helpful but not required. Experience working with high school-aged youth in any setting is a plus. Range of starting annual salary $49,349 to $55,987 (potentially higher if already a PA certified teacher) plus excellent benefits package. The yearly salary can grow to more than $105,000 upon reaching the top salary step. The hiring process includes state and federal required criminal background checks.
