Responsibilities
- Inventory & Stocking: Stock the hardware store, ensuring all merchandise is properly ordered, filled, and placed.
- Pricing & Accuracy: Maintain correct inventory counts and ensure all products have the proper tags and pricing.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate both stand-up and sit-down forklifts to move materials.
- Customer Service: Assist all customers in the store with their needs and product questions.
- Transactions: Ring out customers on the POS terminal and manage cash register duties.
Qualifications
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Technical Skills: Certified or experienced in operating stand-up and sit-down forklifts.
- Experience: Proven background in customer service and cash register/POS operation.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of hardware products and their specific uses.
