Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise daily store operations, ensuring efficiency and high standards of customer service.
- Recruit, interview, and onboard new team members, providing comprehensive training and development opportunities.
- Manage employee schedules, conduct performance evaluations, and motivate staff to achieve sales targets.
- Oversee inventory management, including stock ordering, purchasing, merchandising, and inventory control to maximize sales potential.
- Handle cash register operations, cashiering duties, POS (Point of Sale) systems, and cash handling procedures with accuracy.
- Implement pricing strategies, promotional campaigns, and marketing initiatives to attract customers and increase sales.
- Maintain organized records of payroll, bookkeeping, budgeting, and administrative tasks to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven management experience in retail or grocery store environments with supervising responsibilities.
- Strong skills in negotiation, customer service, team management, and communication.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively.
- Demonstrated experience in recruiting, training & development, payroll processing, and inventory management.
- Familiarity with POS systems, retail math calculations, merchandising standards, and store safety protocols.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
